John drives us all, in his car, to the monthly Ulysses Club Get-together, held at The Highway 31 Restaurant, Sydney Street - Central Melbourne.
Nice venue, with a Harley Davidson theme. Good crowd of guys & gals turn-up too. We make loads of new friends .. :o)
The following morning, Saturday-08, John takes the lead to show us around his favourite local rides. Here we are looking out from a viewing point on the Dandenong Ranges about 20 miles east of Melbourne, near John's home.-------------------------------------------------------------------

Morning-time. Out of Gore township, in the far south of South Island (in the originally-named region of 'Southland' .. !!). Encountering fog, which reduces visibility to less than 10m in some places ..
.. on the way to the Catlins; one of the best coastline areas to visit in the whole of NZ .. in my humble opinion
